Amy and Dan are both musicians in the Army where they first met, Amy's father is the vicar of All Saints Ryde on the Isle of Wight and that was where the ceremony was held in January.

Amy's father wanted to give his daughter away so he asked his friend and boss the Rt Rev Christopher Foster the Bishop of Portsmouth to conduct the ceremony and he agreed to do so even though he had not conducted a wedding service for 20 years.

Once the superb church service had finished it was then time to head off to The Royal Hotel in Ventnor for the food/drink and good times.
